Off North Shore Road. Public. Very shallow water, even at high tide. Safe. Attractive. Named after Henry Shelly, one of the 1609 English colonists on the famous Sea Venture ship that foundered off Bermuda, commanded by the Founder of Bermuda, Admiral Sir George Somers.

A safe and shallow beach at low tide for novice swimmers and children. A favorite of Bermudians in the clusters of homes nearby. With a beachside cafe, with changing and bathroom (toilet) facilities inside the cafe. Picnic facilities, parking and playground for children.

With a nearby recreational park for organized sports such as soccer, once a racecourse. Bus routes 10 or 11. Not far from the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo and Flatt's Village but not a walk recommended for those unused to walking on a very busy road, especially in the humid months of June through September.
